« The Queen of Goth » gives a stunning performance in Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil(2019)!
Angelina Jolie is graceful, sensual, dangerous, dark, brave, and loving, wrapped in one powerful package! Aside from Elvira the « Queen of Darkness », Angelina possesses all of the ingredients combined to pull this Disney movie off!
Disney has always been known to create movies and cartoons with a lot of innocent child « popcorn fantasy » type of magic stuff. However, it looks like Disney explored deep into « the dark side ». Therefore, exploring a realm of sort of « blackness »: dark fantasy and magic.
It was done with genius! The dark part was goth, darkness without gloom, magnificence, magical, and beauty.
I like the nature, animal, and human harmony touches in it as well. Nice. Very nice! Also, the movie was well rounded in more ways.
The cast itself included people of color and other ethnicities. Cool. Goats like humans come in all sorts of sizes and colors as well!
Well done, Disney! Well done! Angelina does more than acting in this movie. In fact, she had a hand in producing in the film!
Michelle Pfeiffer is a force to be reckoned with as Queen Ingrith. Her shocking character and performance left me thinking that the movie itself(along with elements of surprise in the film)has room for another sequel!
So far, Rocket Man, Joker, Aladdin, When They See Us, and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil are winners! Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be in theaters everywhere this Friday, October 18th, 2019!
Go and watch it!
